By using the e-Salahkaar mobile application (“App”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these Terms carefully.

1. Use of Services

• e-Salahkaar provides a platform for users (“Users”) to book consultations with experienced consultants in various fields such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, SNAP, NMAT, and other competitive exams.

• The services provided by consultants are independent, and e-Salahkaar is not responsible for the accuracy, quality, or outcome of the consultations. Users engage with consultants at their own discretion and risk.

• e-Salahkaar and the consultants on the platform do not guarantee any returns or outcomes from the consultations. The advice provided is based on the consultant’s knowledge and experience and is intended for educational purposes only.

2. Registration and Account Security

• Users must register and create an account on the App to book consultations. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for all activities that occur under your account.

• By registering, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information and to update it when necessary.

3. Booking and Payment Terms

• Booking Process: Users can book available time slots for consultations through the App. You will be required to select the duration of the consultation and complete payment to confirm the booking.

• Payment: All payments must be made through the App’s payment gateway. Bookings will only be confirmed once the payment is successfully processed.

• Refunds:

• Users are eligible for a refund only if the booking is canceled at least 2 hours before the scheduled consultation. Cancellations made within 2 hours of the session are not eligible for refunds.

• Refunds will only be processed in cases where the consultant fails to deliver the session due to unforeseen circumstances, as determined by e-Salahkaar.

• No-Show Policy: If a user does not attend the scheduled session, no refund or rescheduling will be available.

• GST on Wallet Payments: Any amount added to the user’s e-Salahkaar wallet is subject to GST as per Indian law. GST will be automatically calculated and added during the wallet top-up process. Users agree to pay the applicable GST.

• If any refund is approved, it will be reflected in your bank account within 5–7 business days

4. User Conduct

• Respectful Behavior: Users are expected to behave respectfully and professionally during interactions with consultants. Harassment, abuse, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of your account.

• Prohibited Activities: Users must not:

• Use the platform for illegal activities.

• Share personal information outside the platform.

• Solicit or encourage consultants to interact outside of the App.

• Use the platform for purposes other than consulting as intended.

5. Consultation Disclaimer

• e-Salahkaar acts solely as a facilitator between users and consultants. The consultants on the platform are independent professionals, and e-Salahkaar does not endorse or guarantee the quality or accuracy of any consultation.

• The advice and information provided during consultations are for educational purposes only and should not be considered as guaranteed outcomes. e-Salahkaar and its consultants are not liable for any actions or decisions taken by the user based on the consultation.

• Users are encouraged to verify the information provided during consultations and use their discretion before making any decisions.

6. App Maintenance and Availability

• e-Salahkaar strives to ensure the availability and performance of the App, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service at all times.

• In case of technical issues, e-Salahkaar will make reasonable efforts to restore service as soon as possible. However, we are not liable for losses due to service interruptions or technical failures.

7. Data and Privacy

• Data Collection: By using the App, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information, including but not limited to contact details, payment information, and consultation history.

• Usage of Data: e-Salahkaar will use your data to facilitate bookings, payments, and communication between users and consultants. For more information, review our Privacy Policy.

• Calls and Messages: By using the App, you agree to receive calls, messages, or video calls from consultants and the e-Salahkaar team for consultation purposes or support.

• Security: e-Salahkaar takes reasonable steps to protect your personal data. However, we cannot guarantee data security in case of an unauthorized breach. Users should keep their login information confidential.

8. Termination of Account

• e-Salahkaar reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts at any time for violations of these Terms or for fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities.

• Users may also deactivate their accounts by contacting e-Salahkaar support, provided there are no pending or ongoing bookings.

9. Tax and Compliance

• Users are not required to pay taxes on the consultations they book. Consultants are responsible for reporting their earnings and complying with local tax obligations.

• However, users must pay GST on any amounts added to their e-Salahkaar wallet. GST is automatically calculated and displayed on the wallet page.

10. Dispute Resolution

• If any issues arise between users and consultants, users can raise a dispute through the App within 48 hours of the session. e-Salahkaar will investigate and mediate the situation.

• e-Salahkaar’s decision in such matters is final and binding.

11. Limitation of Liability

• e-Salahkaar is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App or its services.

• The maximum liability of e-Salahkaar in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the consultation.

12. Modifications to Terms

• e-Salahkaar reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of changes, and continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction]. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Insert Location].
